Harry E. Schrott, Sr., 91 of Nokomis passed away October 8, 2010. He was the son of Robert and Adelaide (Magealson), born April 10, 1919 in Pittsburgh, PA. Harry served in the US Army during WWII and was a retired Pipefitter. He moved to Nokomis from Baltimore in 1991. Harry was a member of BPOE Venice, Venice VFW and Venice American Legion. He was a Shriner and for many years was a clown with the Shriner's. Harry loved to play golf and enjoyed gardening. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 67 years, Tina; daughter, Cynthia (Dan) Johnson of Clifton, VA; son, Harry Schrott, Jr of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Suzanne, Michael and Bo and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service in celebration of Harry's life will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at James McKee Funeral Home, 14538 Tamiami Trail, North Port.
