Gwendolyn F. Cole, 83, of Venice, FL formerly of Dayton, OH passed away December 24, 2015. She was the daughter of Curt and Lydia (Parker) Angel, born December 13, 1932 in Dayton, OH. She was a homemaker most of her life, but was also co-owner, with her husband, of Lazy Breeze Mobile Home Park, and Airport Shell in Sarasota. She was a member of First Baptist of Sarasota. Her greatest joy was to spend time with her family. Gwendolyn will be greatly missed by her daughter, Cindy (Ron) Roe; daughter-in-law, Natalie Cole-Burks; sister, Delorise Robinson; grandchildren, Scott (Mary) Roe, Ronald (Shari) Roe, Jr., Crystal (Willie) Troyer, and Erika (Patrick) Cartner; 12 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert; son, Curt; great-grandson, Joseph Curt; and step-brothers, Bruce Hurley and Dale Hurley. The family will receive friends 10:00-11:00am Monday, January 4, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte with the service in celebration of Gwendolyn's life beginning at 11:00am.
