Guito D’Haiti, 49, of Port Charlotte passed away October 18, 2005. He was the son of Emile and Ines (Clerge) D’Haiti, born January 14, 1956 in Haiti. Guito lived in Boston, MA before coming to Port Charlotte in 2001. He was a driver for MB Trans Medical Transportation in Port Charlotte. He loved soccer, tennis, and pool, and was of the Seventh Day Adventist faith. Guito will be greatly missed by his wife of 6 years, Carline; daughters, Marsha and Tyra, both of Port Charlotte; son, Carl Heinz D’Haiti of Boston; parents, Emile and Ines D’Haiti of Boston; and sisters, Marie Edith Valcin of Boston, Yanick D’Haiti of Boston, and Rose Marie Silaire of Spring Valley, NY. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2005 at the Punta Gorda chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. The service in celebration of Guito’s life will be 9 a.m. October 30 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Port Charlotte. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
