Gregg Vitale

Gregg Vincent Vitale (63), devoted husband, father, and friend to many, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on December 23, 2024 at Tampa General Hospital surrounded by loved ones. He will be forever be in our hearts.

Gregg was born in Fort Lauderdale on March 24, 1961. He attended South Plantation High School. He then attended Saint Leo College, where he played football and majored in Accounting. After attending Saint Leo, he met and married the love of his life, Julianne (Juli). He continued to get his Master's in Business Administration from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale. Gregg was an accountant, starting at Lyke's Pasco in Dade City, Florida. He was then an Assistant Controller at Ocean Spray in Vero Beach. For the last 30 years, he worked as Controller for Peace River Citrus Products in Arcadia, where he was known as "Big Daddy." Gregg was a past President of the Vero Beach Little League and Port Charlotte Little League. He enjoyed watching and attending sporting events and concerts.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Julianne (Merry) and their children: Dillon, Melinda (Mindy), and Tyler. He is also survived by his brother Glenn Vitale (Huyen), sister Dawn Gomez (Jimmy Cooper), his niece, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents: Rita and Vincent Micheal Vitale.
