Grace A. Duncan

Grace A. Duncan, 88, of Port Charlotte passed away August 4, 2006. She was born June 27, 1918 in Jamaica to Cleveland and Constance (Allen) Cox. Grace worked for Gracie Square Hospital in New York, New York as a nurse assistant before retiring. She moved from Clearwater, Fl to Port Charlotte in 1993 and was a member of St. James Episcopal Church. She will be greatly missed by her son Eugene Plummer of Port Charlotte; sisters Olive (Sal) McDonald of Canada, Ena Mitchell of Jamaica and Cynthia (Pat) Smalling of Clearwater, FL; grandchildren Yvette Plummer of Denver, CO and Sean Plummer of CA and one great-grandchild. Grace was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Duncan. The family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 9th at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with a celebration of Grace’s life to follow at 2:00 pm.
