Gloria J. Oleson

Gloria J. Oleson, 65, of Port Charlotte, formerly of Austin, MN passed away May 2, 2011. She was born March 4, 1946 in Minneapolis, MN to Harm and Bertha (Akkerman) Huisinga. Gloria worked as a certified nursing and assistant and spent most of her life taking care of her family, friends and proud grandmother. She was a former member of Faith Evangelical Free Church, Austin, MN. Gloria enjoyed working in her garden and doing a little golfing with her husband. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 45 years, Emory; sons, Jay Oleson and daughter in law Tammy and Justin Oleson; brother, Marlin Huisinga; grandchildren, Cody, Austin, Hunter, Maverick, Wyatt, Timothy, Shana and James; great grandson, Mason and special friends "sisters", Sandy, LuAnn and Trissy. A memorial service will be 3:00 pm, Friday, May 6, 2011 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
