Gerry Hayde Russell

Gerry Hayde Russell, 72, of Punta Gorda, formerly of Beverly, MA passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011. He was born April 23, 1938 in Brady, TX to Hayde and Edith (Heald) Russell. He served in the US Navy from 1956 to 1960. He was the owner of Tire Bargain Center of Beverly, MA and then owned G & J's Boats of Fort Myers. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Gerry will be greatly missed by his wife of 42 years, Assunta "Sue"; mother, Edith Russell; son, Mathew (Caroline) Russell; brother, Reagan Russell of Killeen, TX and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Gwen Russell Young. A memorial mass will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda.
