Geraldine M Janus

Geraldine M. Janus, 88, of Punta Gorda passed away March 27, 2018. She was the daughter of Victor and Edith Voss, born July 14, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. Geraldine was a bookkeeper and worked for Eagle Wire Works in Cleveland, Ohio for many years before retiring. She moved to this area in 2001 from Cocoa Beach, Florida. Geraldine was of the Catholic faith; she enjoyed reading, traveling, and watching Tom Selleck in Blue Bloods. Geraldine will be greatly missed by her daughters, Debbie (John) Cherico and Sue Gauchat; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Janus; and sons, Gary Janus and David Janus. No services are planned. Memorial donations may be made to Hope Hospice.
