Gerald Frank Malewska

Gerald F. Malewska, 64 of Punta Gorda passed away November 2, 2005. He was born November 8, 1940 in Dearborn Township of Michigan to George and Vivian (Rawson) Malewska. Gerald was a logistics manager for General Motors before retiring and moved from Alpena, Michigan two and half years ago to Punta Gorda. He served in the volunteer Coast Guard Auxiliary and was very active as a coordinator of local social events and inspected boats for local boat owners. Gerald was a member of N.R.A., an avid outdoors man, fisherman and sharp shooter. Gerald will be missed by his son Greg Malewska of Lapeer, MI; brothers Dale Malewski of Ovid, MI and Ralph Malewska of Littleton, CO; sister Kathy Wegrzyn of Lapeer, MI. A funeral service in celebration of Gerald’s life will be at 11:00 am, Friday, November 4 at Faith Lutheran Church in Punta Gorda.
