Gerald A. Green

Gerald A. "Gerry" Green, 64, of Punta Gorda went to be with his Lord on May 19, 2012. He was the son of Jack C. and Pearl (Wachs) Green, born January 3, 1948 in Olney, IL. Gerry served in the US Air Force; he was a Captain with Tradewinds Airlines before retiring. Gerry enjoyed fishing, sailing, boating, and SCUBA diving. He was a member of New Day Christian Church in Port Charlotte. Gerry will be greatly missed by his wife of 41 years, Nancy; parents, Jack and Pearl Green; daughter, Amanda (Vartan) Malatlian; son Jeremy (Amy) Green; sisters, Gloria (Larry) Wiedlocher, and Connie (Roy) Creager; and grandchildren, Tristan, Thaddeus, Johnathan, Adam and Emma. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. The memorial service in celebration of Gerry's life will be at 6:00 pm Thursday, May 24 at New Day Christian Church.
