George Junior Troy Smith
Born on April 2, 1990, to his loving parents Samantha Rhonda Clarke and George Smith in Queens New York.
Troy and his family relocated to Port Charlotte Florida at an early age. This would be Troy’s favorite place to live.
He insisted on living there after his parents relocated to Georgia.
As a child, Troy excelled in school. He attended Peace River Elementary School, Port Charlotte Middle School, and Port Charlotte High School, of which he graduated and earned his High School Diploma. Troy was very athletic and played football throughout his academic years. Playing peewee football at Peace River Elementary all the way to being a defensive end and nose guard for the Port Charlotte Pirates. Where he and His team won the Allstar game.
Troy was the apple of his family’s eye. His charming personality gave him the affection of countless people that were attracted to his contagious smile. He always had the best hugs and always greeted you with positivity and happiness.
Troy loved his family with everything he had especially his mom Samantha Clarke, dad, Paul Clarke who fathered him from the tender age of three, his siblings, and his son Levi whom he was very passionate about. Troy was adamant about living close to his son so he could be the best father to him. Troy sacrificed effortlessly for those he loved without a second thought.
Troy had hopes and dreams that he pursued with all he had for the betterment of himself and his family.
He was very hardworking and had exceptional work ethics. He always had more than one job and was always a great asset anywhere he worked. Troy completed his training as an air conditioning Technician and also gained a CDL licensure to become a Truck Driver. He now leaves it behind for us take the baton and continue to realize our hopes and dreams in this life.
Tragically Troy transitioned into eternity on October 11, 2020, after succumbing to his injuries after a motor vehicle accident. It is his family’s assurance and confirmation that Troy is ok, he has left this earthen vessel and is alive in spirit. He is with the Ancestors now and is available to them always. So we ask you today, don’t mourn as one with no understanding, but rejoice to have known him and shared his time in this life.
