George E. Zukowski

George "The Painter" Zukowski, 68, of Punta Gorda passed away on October 30, 2008. He was born December 17, 1940 in New York, New York to Stanley and Jane Zukowski. George served in the US Navy. He was a retired painter and moved from New York in 1992 to Punta Gorda. George enjoyed saltwater tropical fish. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 42 years, Ann; daughter, Diane (Richard) Corrado of Port Charlotte; sons, John Kunicki-Zukowski of Harrison, NY and Gary (Elizabeth) Kunicki of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Stanley (Marie) Zukowski of Whitestone, NY; eight grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A celebration of George's life will be at 6:00 pm, Monday, November 10, 2008 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Bob Carlson officiating.
