Gail Ranney Lehmann

Gail R. Lehmann, 74, of Punta Gorda formerly of Geneva, Ohio passed away April 2, 2009. She was the daughter of Archibald and Hazel (Small) Ranney, born December 23, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Shaw High School, Cleveland, Ohio and worked on Reunion Committee in Florida . She received her Bachelor's from Dennison University and taught Physical Ed, English and Biology for several school districts in Ohio and Michigan. She was an avid golfer and a club champion at several clubs including at Cross Creek Golf Course in Lacon, IL. Gail was member of the Platinum Point Yacht Club in Burnt Store Marina. Gail will be greatly missed by her husband, Louis; son, David (Laura) James; daughter, Pamela (Michael) Hollimon; grandchildren, Brandice (Samuel) Hughes, Maeghan (Daniel) Reddick and Dana James; great-grandchildren, Alisha Valkos and Brianna Reddick. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lois McNamara. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 4, 2009 with a celebration of Gail's life to follow at 3:00 pm at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
