Frank S. Cicanese

Frank S. Cicanese, 79, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Gibsonburg, OH passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2013 at Tidewell Hospice, Inc. He was the son of Nunzio and Mary (nee Reino) Cicanese, born May 31, 1934 in Gibsonburg, OH. Frank enjoyed raising and racing harness horses. He was very active in the community as a coach with youth baseball, including Little League, and officiated in basketball. He was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church. Frank will be greatly missed by his wife, Marilyn of 61 years; children, Cindy Brickner, Pam (Gary) Stevenson, Linda (Keith) Boedicker, Gary (Kim) Cicanese, Crystal (Brian) Donnell, Chad (Karyl) Cicanese; brother, Bill (Betty) Cicanese; sisters, Maria Meyn, Irene Giarmo and Carol Michael; fifteen grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joanne and grandson, Danny. A memorial mass to celebrate Frank's life will held at a later date.
