Frank L. Imm

Frank L. Imm, 77, passed away at his home in Port Charlotte, FL on Wednesday April 16, 2014. He was the son of Henry and Pauline (nee Lewis) Imm Steger, born on September 22, 1936 in Charlotte. N.Y. Frank served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and returned to Chautauqua County in 1956. He worked for the Chautauqua County Highway Department for 32 years and retired in 1995. A life member of the Sinclairville Fire Department and held several board positions with the Highway Credit Union. He enjoyed beef farming, gardening, and his dog Jasmine. He married Joan LeBaron Spencer in September 2002, and spent the winter months in Florida. Later he became a full time resident. Frank will be greatly missed by his, wife, Joan Spencer-Imm; children, Mark (Julia) Imm of Newark, DE, Justine (Brian) Marz of Abilene, TX, Michael (Wendy) Imm of Cassadaga, NY, Dale (Cindy) Spencer of Pontiac MI, Brian (Angela) Spencer of Franklin TN, Rhonda (Gary) Garrison of Clarkston, MI, Sandra (Randy) Eberline of Land O' Lakes, FL, Teresa Spencer of Clarkston, MI; sisters, Rosella (nee Imm Brevoort) Carlson of Miami, Fl, and Harriet (nee Imm) Hoffower of Bear Lake, NY; brothers, Bill (Virginia) Imm of Westfield, NY, and Gene Steger of Westfield, NY; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step- grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Jim Hoffower in 2004, and a granddaughter, Jessica (Marz) Rosas in 2012. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
