Frank J. Schultheis, Jr., 87, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away on May 7, 2022. He was born on October 16, 1935, in Philadelphia, PA to Francis and Catherine Schultheis. Frank served in the U.S. Airforce and Army, moving to Port Charlotte in 1974 from New Jersey. He worked as a machinist early on in his career followed by various jobs that eventually led to his favorite career, Chief Security Office for Rolls Landing. Frank was also a proud member of the Moose Lodge #2121 and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, collecting coins, music, cars, John Wayne movies, and donating to many charities.
Frank will be deeply missed by his daughter Mary Jane Lord (Michael); sons Daniel R. Schultheis (Jennifer), Frank L. Schultheis (Carol), and Craig Schultheis (Carol); brothers William Schultheis and Joseph Schultheis; sister Elizabeth Mulnern (Edward); 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years Mildred Schultheis, son Wayne C. Schultheis, and his parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in Frank’s name to St. Jude Hospital.
