Francis “Hank” Hauser, Jr., 64, of Englewood passed away May 4, 2007. He was born April 1, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ. Hank resided in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey before moving to Florida five years ago. Hank served in the US Army as a Military Policeman in Germany 1962 to 1965 and was the recipient of the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and Army of Occupation Medal (Berlin) He was a retired truck driver with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 560. Hank was an avid sportsman and was known most for his love of fishing. He will be remembered for his love of life and was an inspiration to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his sisters Georgianna (Don) Forlenzo of Punta Gorda, Frances Fitzgerald of Port Charlotte, Evelyn Maggia and Charlotte (Joe) Walker of Fort Pierce, FL along with three nieces and four nephews. Hank was preceded in death by his beloved mother Evelyn Hauser. A Gathering will be 2:00 - 3:00 pm, Thursday, May 10, 2007 with a celebration of Hanks’ life at 3:00 pm at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with Father Jerry Kaywell officiating.
