Florence “Flo” Sandra Pappas was the most loving mother, grandmother, GG, sister, aunt, and friend. She brought sunshine and joy to all that knew her. She went home to Jesus on August 2, 2022, at the age of 75.
She was born to Lester and Wanda Warman on December 3, 1946, in Bayonne, NJ. She is predeceased by her parents and her sister June Campisano. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Loeffler, daughter, Amy (Artie) Meeker, and son, Ryan (Stacey) Pappas. Her beloved grandchildren Ryan (Dakota) Pappas and Brooke Meeker, her great-grandson, her pride and joy, Maddox Pappas, and many nieces and nephews.
Flo was a devoted member of Christ Church in Howell, NJ before moving to Florida in 2012. Since then she has been an active member of New Day Christian Church where she was able to meet many wonderful friends.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great pleasures to Flo. She loved nothing more than being with her family. Flo was deeply loved and was a constant source of support, love, and light to everyone that was lucky enough to know her. Her favorite past times were going to dinner with her family and friends and playing games around the kitchen table. Flo was happiest when she was relaxing on the beach at Boca Grande. She also loved spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes and was very proud that she had recently mastered her cornbread recipe.
A memorial service to remember our sweet Flobaby’s beautiful life will be held at New Day Christian Church at 20212 Peachland Blvd. Port Charlotte, FL 33954 on August 10, 2022, at 11:00 am.
