Evelyn V Ford

Evelyn V. Ford, 93, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away August 6, 2018. She was the daughter of Loren and Lela Ford, born September 23, 1924 in Nebo, IL. Evelyn was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and owned Fords Honda, the family motorcycle business in Jacksonville, IL. She came to Port Charlotte from Roodhouse, IL 20 years ago and attended Peace River Baptist Church. She was an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed painting and quilting. Evelyn will be greatly missed by her daughter, Ann (Bill) Jameson; grandchildren, Cheryl (John) Sanford and Robert Lenhoff; great-granddaughter, Suzanne (Alex) Mattingly; sister, Bonnie Marsh; and several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at Mackey-Daws Funeral Home, Roodhouse Chapel, with the service in celebration of Evelyns life beginning at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice.
