Evelyn V. Calvi

Evelyn V. (nee Sullivan) Calvi, 93, of Punta Gorda, FL formerly of Bradford, MA passed away June 2, 2011. She was born February 16, 1918 in Haverhill, MA to Gus and Louise (nee Lyons) Sullivan. Evelyn worked as a fancy stitcher for many years in the shoe industry and was an very avid dressmaker at home. She enjoyed traveling the United States and Europe with her husband, Henry. Evelyn was a member of Sacred Hearts Church in Bradford, MA. She loved taking care of her adoring grandchildren. Evelyn will greatly missed by her daughters, JoAnne L. McPhee and Judith (Larry) Trecartin; grandsons, Richard "Rick" McPhee and Kevin McPhee; great-granddaughters, Heidi Mokkasian and Jacklyn McPhee; great-great-grandchildren, Preston and McKenzie McPhee and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Calvi; son in law, Richard McPhee and brother, Ernest Sullivan. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, August 18, 2100 at Sacred Hearts Church of Bradford, MA. Arrangements are by Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
