Evelyn Ruby Draht

Evelyn Ruby Draht, 63, of Port Charlotte passed away December 17, 2006. She was born September 27, 1943 in Elmira, New York to Herbert and Ruby (Pickett) Traver. Evelyn graduated from Southside High School in Elmira, New York. She worked in food service for Elmira City School District in New York and upon retirement she then worked for Peace River Nursing Home in Dietary. She was a member of Tri City Baptist Church. Evelyn enjoyed playing bingo, cards and see the world by cruising with her husband. She especially enjoyed the company of her family and friends. Evelyn will be greatly missed by her husband of 40 years, Louis; mother, Ruby Traver; sons, David and Kevin; brother, Ronald Traver; sister, Lorraine Castle; grandchildren Chelsey, Brian, Brandon and Heather; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Benjamin. The family will receive friends 11:00 - 1:00 pm, Friday, December 22 with the celebration of Evelyn’s life to follow at 1:00 pm, at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
