Evelyn M. Crane

Evelyn M. Crane, 86, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on October 30, 2019. She was born on January 1, 1933, in Richmond, IN, the 4th child of 8 to George and Melba Sauer.
Evelyn retired from Indiana National Bank as a manager in Indianapolis, IN. She and her husband Raymond retired to Punta Gorda, FL fulltime in 1994. Evelyn loved all animals and children. She will be greeted on the Rainbow Bridge by her many pets through the years that she loved dearly.
Evelyn will be deeply missed by her sons, Robert Sauer; Gary (Linda) Crane; Steve Crane; Mark (Lucy) Crane; and Timothy (Amy) Crane; one daughter Connie (Robert) McCune; 8 grandchildren, Danielle, Carrie, Bryan, Tyler, Katie, Austin, Haley and Trevor; 5 great-grandchildren, Jordan, Chelsea, Lucas, Gabriel and Charisma; one great-great-granddaughter Briella; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her brother Gerald (Butch); sisters Joyce Kennedy and Sherry Campbell. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Melba Porter Sauer; brothers Charles, Robert and George Sauer; sister Catherine Lewis; her loving husband Raymond Crane Jr. They were married 50 years before his death in 2002. He was the love of her life.
