Erma L Partridge

Erma Long Partridge, 70, of Punta Gorda, Cape Coral, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, FL went to be at peace with Our Lord on Saturday, March 24, 2012 after a courageous fight with cancer. She was the daughter of Charlie and Anne (Johns) Long, born May 21, 1941 in Ft. Lauderdale. She grew up there and graduated from Stranahan High School Class of 1959. Erma worked briefly for Southern Bell and then pursued a career in cosmetology. She will be remembered for her up beat attitude and beautiful smile. Erma will be greatly missed by her sons, John (Darcy) Partridge of Alphretta, GA and Charlie (Julie) Partridge of Madison, WI; 3 grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Michael) Coine of Irmo, SC and Judy Long Grande of Punta Gorda; nieces, Kimberly Smith of Port Charlotte and loving care given to Erma by Kelly (Bert) Hubbell of Cape Coral in her final few years and days. No service is planned at this time. Arrangements are by Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
