Emily Kim Scotto

Emily Kim Scotto, 36, passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2019. Born in Seoul, Korea on March 17, 1983, she moved to Punta Gorda FL from Penn Yan, NY in January 1986 at the age of 3. She was sworn in as a US citizen at the age of 4 by Judge Elmer Friday. Emily graduated from Charlotte High School in June 2001 and was employed for the past several years as a bartender at Laishley's Crab House in Punta Gorda. Emily will be greatly missed by her father, Rev. Vincent Scotto; mother, Viktoria Scotto; step-mother, Kathleen Scotto; sister, Jillian Scotto of The Woodlands, TX; longtime boyfriend, Josh Concia; and many friends. Private services will take place at a later date. Memorial gifts may be made in Emily's memory to the Arbor Day Foundation Trees in Memory program (www.arborday.org).
