Elenea Redgate

Elenea Redgate, 59, of Port Charlotte, FL passed into the Lord's arms on July 7, 2016. She was born December 23, 1956 in Istanbul, Turkey to William and Helen Seitz. Elenea moved to Port Charlotte in 1960 when her parents retired. She attended St. Charles Borromeo Elementary and Charlotte High School. Growing up in Charlotte County Elenea learned to love the great outdoors. She enjoyed golfing, beachcombing and landscaping her own home; and worked as a greens keeper at Maple Leaf Estates. Elenea was a lover of people and she touched many hearts and souls with her kindness and gentle way. She also was an animal lover from her first rescue of a stray puppy she named snoopy to her dog named Shyster who was by her side when she passed. Elenea never was without a pet and she always had room in her heart and her home to lend a helping hand to people or animals. She will be greatly missed by her son, Bradley Redgate; brothers, Terry, Kevin, Tom and many friends and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Steve Redgate; brother, Mark and sister, Donna.
