Eleanor Schweighardt

Eleanor Schweighardt, 89, of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of North Haledon, NJ passed away peacefully on Jan. 7, 2018 at her home. She was born July 23, 1928 in Passaic, NJ to Peter and Dinah VanderBrook. She was a retired L.P.N. and a lifetime member of the Elmwood Park Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Eleanor was of the Protestant faith. Her passions were her family, playing cards and attending country music concerts with her husband Bill. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Donna (Raymond) Cooper; sons, Thomas, John (Rosa), Robert (Heather) and Ray Schweighardt; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 66 years, William; brother, John VanderBrook and sisters, Grace Varcadipane and Marion Kamper.
