Edward W. Cole

Edward "Ed" W. Cole, 81, of Port Charlotte and formerly Union, NJ passed away August 10, 2009. He was the son of Chester and Agnes (Hafner) Cole, born January 11, 1928 in Newark, New Jersey. Ed spent several years in the Merchant Marines and four years in the Navy. He worked for Art Now Inc. Gallery Guide in Clinton, NJ before retiring in June of 2000 and was a life member of Knights of Columbus in NJ and a member of the American Legion of Totowa, NJ. Ed will be greatly missed by his wife, Florence; sons, Patrick of Gouldsboro, PA and Michael of Wayne, NJ; granddaughters, Amy, Kelly and Danielle; cousins, Betty Ann Flannagan and Vinnie of Clark, NJ; stepsons, Gary Isom of GA and David Isom of Mahwah, NJ; step-daughters, Bonnie Schnatter of Parrish, FL and Sandra Enander of Venice, FL and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Douglas T.
