Edward Hozubin

Edward Hozubin, 88, of Port Charlotte passed away November 9, 2007. He was born January 16, 1919 in Waterbury, CT to Louis and Josephine (Armonat) Hozubin. Edward serviced in WWII in the 87th Infantry Division in Germany. Edward worked as a carpenter and builder in Cheshire, CT until he retired and moved to Port Charlotte in 1984. He enjoyed going fishing and was of the Episcopalian faith. Edward will be greatly missed by his wife of 67 years, Bernice; daughter, June Swanson of Norwalk, CT; son, Edward (Suzanne) Hozubin of Auburn, MA; brother, Albert Hozubin of Cheshire, CT and two grandchildren Eric and Rebecca. He was preceded in death by his twin brother John and sister Emma. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m, Thursday, November 15, 2007 with Rev. Larry May officiating at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. To express condolences to the family, please sign the online guest book.
