Edith Ross

Edith Ross, 86, of Punta Gorda passed away March 20, 2006. She was born July 29, 1919 in Czechoslovakia to the late Joseph and Margot (Guttman) Weingarten. Edith was a member of the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 59 years, Irving; sons Richard (Gail) Ross of Sarasota and Barry (Marcy) Ross of Copake, NY; sisters Alice Guttman of New Jersey; grandchildren Sarah Ross of Copake, NY, David Ross and Andrew Ross both of Sarasota. A memorial service in celebration of Edith’s life will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 22 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with Mike Neal officiating.
