Earl Walter "Walt" Langenberg, Jr.

Earl Walter "Walt" Langenberg, Jr., 75, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 quietly at home. He was born to Earl and Margaret Langenberg in Peoria, IL in 1941. Walt graduated from Quincy College. Joined the Navy as an Ensign. Served in Japan and Vietnam and received a Purple Heart for his service. Later was employed by ATF and was a Federal Agent for 23 years. Walt lived life to the fullest and was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He traveled all over the world. Loved to scuba dive, duck hunt, fish and play with the grandkids in the pool. Walt is survived by his mother, Margaret; sister, Carol; wife, Betsy; children, Todd, Neil, Celeste, Jill and Ross; beloved by his grandchildren, Tommy, Ana, Louie and Roy.
