Dwight Wuerth

Dwight Wuerth, 69, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away on September 7, 2021. He was born on October 9, 1951, to Joseph and Viola Wuerth in Miami, FL.  He moved to Port Charlotte in 1998 after residing in the Philippines.  Dwight honorably served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1971.  He was a member of the American Legion and American Eagle.  Dwight enjoyed working on cars, fishing, camping, and taking things apart to tinker with them when he was bored.  He especially loved spending time with his family.


Dwight will be deeply missed by his wife of 34 years, Norma S. Wuerth; daughter Angelica Crystal (Helen Chu) Wuerth; sons Dwight Eric Wuerth, James Christopher (Lauren) Wuerth, Mitch Dwayne (Jennifer) Wuerth, and Clifford (Jessica) Wuerth; brother Michael Wuerth; sister Darlene Morse; and his grandchildren Miguel, Jaden, Logan, Victor, and Ava. 


In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in Dwight’s name to the American Legion.
