Dr. Virgil H. Eaton

Dr. Virgil H. Eaton, 82, of Port Charlotte passed away January 4, 2010. He was the son of Ernest and Lillie (Abell) Eaton, born January 30, 1927 in Sulphur, IN. Virgil served in the US Army and was a member of American Legion Post 110 in Port Charlotte. He was a dentist in Brownsburg, IN for 40 years before retiring; he moved to Port Charlotte in 1992 from there. Virgil enjoyed fishing and was a master gardener. Virgil will be greatly missed by his wife of 18 years, Stephanie; daughter, Jane Ann (Ray) Zaleski of Richmond, IN; son, Steve (Lori) Eaton of Bowling Green, KY; step-sons, John Brunner of Brownsburg, IN; Stephen (Maureen) Brunner of Avon, IN, and Douglas (Christina) Brunner of Camby, IN; sister, Dorothy Gibson of Sulpher, IN; and eleven grandchildren.
