Douglas Wayne Rynex

Douglas Wayne Rynex, 55, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 after battling an illness for many years. Doug was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 14, 1962 and lived in Jackson, Michigan, Chicago, Illinois and Punta Gorda, Florida. Doug was a person with a strong interest in the spiritual matters of life and death. He worked in the airline industry for many years and made many friends as he passed through the phases of life. His family grieves for his loss and has spoken to friends and others over the past few days sharing many fond memories and funny stories. Douglas will be greatly missed by his brother, Michael Rynex; parents, Charlotte J. Rynex and Warren G. Rynex. He is preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Rynex. There will be a memorial service on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Lakewood Village Clubhouse, 5601 Duncan Rd. Punta Gorda, FL from 2-4 pm.
