Doris Lundberg

Doris "Dori" Lundberg, 67, of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of Bradenton, FL went to be with her Lord on Jan. 27, 2018. She was born Aug. 31, 1950 in New Britain, CT to Harold and Margaret Jakad. Dori received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at Southern CT State University. She enjoyed dabbling in writing and was an avid reader. Dori loved children, animals, nature, art work and antiques. She was an active and dedicated member of Fort Ogden United Methodist Church. Dori volunteered at Blake Medical Hospital in Bradenton, FL. Dori will be missed by her loving daughter, Dana Lane; dear friend of 50 years, Elaine Anagnostou and extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11am, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Ft. Ogden United Methodist Church, 6923 SW River Street, Ft. Ogden. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in memory of Dori to Ft. Ogden United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 340, Ft. Ogden, FL 34269.
