Doris B. Bean

Doris B. Bean, 87 of Bradenton, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017. She was born in Birmingham, AL, the daughter of Jack and Audrey Bounds. Before retiring to Florida, she was employed at Motion Industries in Irondale, AL. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Doris was a member of Burnt Store Presbyterian Church. Doris will be greatly missed by daughters, Brenda (Michael) Taylor, Sandy Bean and Kathy (Lars) Severson; sisters, Linda Biddy and Carol (Henry) Nix; sister-in-law, JoAnn (Jerry) Kendrick; grandchildren, Jeff (Heather) Taylor, Josh (Michele) Taylor, Katie Severson and Lars Taylor Severson; and great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Hayden and Savannah. She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Arnold M. Bean. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Sarasota National Cemetery.
