Doris A. Huffman

Doris A. Huffman, 94, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away May 10, 2017. She was the daughter of Edmund and Alice Schuler, born March 4, 1923 in Mishawaka, IN. Doris worked as a buyer for Sears and later in banking . She was a past member of the Eastern Star, Leesburg, IN and American Ladies Auxiliary. She was an active member in the Methodist Church; singing and leading the choir. Doris was also an active member of the First Christian Church Punta Gorda. Doris will be greatly missed by her daughters, Diane (Fred) Buckingham and Cheryl (Bob) Dye; grandsons, Todd, Chris and Michael; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Luke and step-great granddaughter, Khalyl. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and husband, Morris G. Huffman. A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Sunday, May 21, 2017 at First Christian Church, 4124 Taylor Rd, Punta Gorda.
