Donna Lynn Harris

Donna Lynn Harris, 72, of Punta Gorda, FL., formerly of Ontario, Canada, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018. She was born January 20, 1946, in Ontario to her parents Stanley and Margaret Pashko. Donna was the former owner of Goodtimes I & II and Aqui Esta Liquor Store in Punta Gorda. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #103 as well as Women of the Moose Chapter #777. Donna was known as a mother to many and even earned the nickname Mama, at Downtown Gatorz Bar and Grill. She was incredibly generous and gave to a multitude of charities and was always there to help someone in need. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Lisa Lamb (Mark) of Punta Gorda; and step daughters, Debbie Harris, Cherie Harris-Mahen; sons, Brian Harris (Glenda); Francis Douglas (Jeanette), Douglas Harris II; brother William Pashko (Kathy); sisters Rene Renouf (Reg), Helen Wishnowski; grandchildren, Crystal, Todd, Adam, Michael (Kimberly), Nicholas, Sabrina, Douglas III, Derrick, Kayla, many cherished nieces and nephews, countless lifelong friends, and her beloved cats, Simba and Nala. Donna is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Doug Harris; brother, Stanley Pashko; sister, Janet Purdy; grandson, Glen; beloved father and mother in law Don and Marie Harris; brother in law Ronald Harris; and her dog, Pearl. In leu of flowers her family asks that donations be made to one of the many charities she supported such as the S.E. Guide Dog School, Alzheimers Association, American Heart Association or St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Visitation for Donna will be held Friday, November 2, 2018, at Larry Taylor Funeral & Cremation Services in Punta Gorda, from 5pm-7pm. Her services will be held the following day Saturday, November 3, 2018, at 1pm at Larry Taylor Funeral & Cremation Services, 1515 Tamiami Trl., Punta Gorda, FL. 33950.
