Donald Eugene Blaylock

Donald Eugene Blaylock, 77, of Punta Gorda passed away January 3, 2011. He was born January 21, 1933 to Forrest and Cora (Beever) Blaylock. Donald graduated from What Cheer High School in 1951 and served in the US Army at Fort Sam Hoston, TX. He married Joanna P. Fry on April 20, 1952. Donald worked as a meat cutter for John Morrels in Ottumawa, IA for 22 years then worked as a corrections officer for almost 15 years. He moved from Monticello, IA to Punta Gorda in 1995. Donald will be greatly missed by his children, Forrest Blaylock of DePere, WI and Jene Hennigar of The Colony, TX and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanna and daughter Donna. The family requests you keep a fond memory and prayer in place of memorial and any donations.
