Donald E. Waite

Donald E. Waite, 79, of Port Charlotte passed away December 29, 2006. He was born January 17, 1927 in Braddock, PA to John and Anna (Vroblick) Waite. Donald served in the US Navy during WWII. He attended Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and graduated in 1947. Donald’s various careers included working three years at Waples Funeral Home, 5 years in sales for Canada Dry Corp, eleven years for Tri State Hobbycraft Corp and after 17 years at American Greeting Cards he retired. He was a member of East Liberty Lodge #725 F&AM in Pittsburgh, PA and A.A.O.N.M.S. Syria Temple in Pittsburgh, PA. Donald enjoyed playing golf and computers. Donald will be greatly missed by his wife of 57 years, Marguerite; sons, Donald (Kathryn) Waite of Pittsburgh, PA and Daniel (Doris) Waite of Upper St. Clair, PA. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Pilgrim United Church of Christ.
