Donald E. Hardy

Donald E." Don" Hardy, 81, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away Monday, September 2, 2013. He was born July 30, 1932 in Boston, MA to Edward and Julia (Sullivan) Plunkett. Don was a member of the Elks and Order of Alhambra. He enjoyed playing golf and cards. Don will be greatly missed by his daughter, Diane (Michael) Smith of Norwood, MA; sisters, Irene (Fred) Roth, Rita Lambert (Richard) Cronan and Elizabeth Dinneen all of Port Charlotte, FL; grandchildren, James, Allison and Christopher Smith all of Norwood, MA; also missed by his numerous nieces and nephews that affectionately called him Unca Don. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Hardy. A memorial mass to celebrate Donald's life will be held at 11:00am, Monday, September 9, 2013 at San Antonio Catholic Church. n lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, Inc., 12034 N.
