Donald C. Wedgwood, 54 of Venice, FL passed away in Sarasota Memorial Hospital on April18, 2019 after a short but valiant battle with Cancer. Don was born in Massachusetts on January 2, 1965. He moved to Port Charlotte, FL and then to Venice, FL 24 years ago. He was employed at Publix Warehouse in Sarasota, FL before starting his own busines Wedgwood Lawn Service about 16 years ago, and had many loyal customers. He could be found relaxing on Venice Beach in his spare time or at the Dog Beach in the evenings with his faithful companion Icey. Donald is survived by his mother and step-father, Carol and Harry Neeves of Port Charlotte, daughter Jessica Lange (Josh) and her three children Jasmine, Josh and Ty of W. Yarmouth, MA and son Cameron of Goffstown, NH. He is also survived by his three siblings, Aaron, William and Caroline of Massachusetts and New Hampshire, step-daughters Haley Perry of Venice, FL and Heather (Mathew) Aiken and their three children. Don also retained a good relationship with his two former spouses Sue Travers of New Hampshire and Pamela Shaw of Venice, FL. Don will also be missed by his aunt/godmother Barbara Palmieri of Port Charlotte, FL and his cousin Gary (Kathy) Palmieri of Dedham, MA, along with a Village of family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations in Dons name can be made to any Animal Rescue Facility, Peace River Wildlife Center in Punta Gorda, FL or St. Judes Childrens Hospital. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. To express condolences to the family, please sign the online guest book. Arrangements are by Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
