Dominick D. Muzio, 83, of Punta Gorda passed away January 17, 2006. He was born July 31, 1922 in Brooklyn, N.Y. to the late John and Rosalie (Biondillo) Muzio. Dominick moved from Staten Island, N.Y. to Punta Gorda in 1996. He served in the Navy on the USS Cabot during WWII and was a retired business owner. Dominick was a member of Knights of Columbus, Disabled Veterans and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a Frank Sinatra buff and was known as everybody’s Grandpa. Dominick will be greatly missed by his daughters Rose (Frank) Kruszka and Beatrice (Joe) Coccaro both of Staten Island, NY; sons John (Lucy) Muzio of Punta Gorda, Frank Muzio of Staten Island, NY and Tony (Elayna) Muzio of Vera Beach; sisters Angie Giglio of NJ, Lily Scolaro of Brooklyn and Connie Raimondo, Staten Island, NY.; fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends between 6:00 - 9:00 pm, Friday, January 20 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. A funeral mass will be at Noon on Saturday, January 21 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda.
