Dolores M. Kays

Dolores "Dorie" Kays, 80, of Punta Gorda and Lostant, IL, passed away at her home June 23, 2010. She was born May 28, 1930 in LaSalle, Illinois to Joseph T. and Cora (Barnes) Murchland. Dorie was a winter resident for 26 years, became a permanent resident in 2009, and lived in Fincastle, VA for 15 years. She was a Life member of the Order of the Eastern Star and of the Methodist faith. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill; daughter, Marsha (Kerry) Campbell of Fincastle, VA; son, Kevin Kays of Denver, CO; sister Joan Tefertillar of Springfield, IL and grandson, Alex Campbell of Blue Ridge, VA. Dorie was preceded in death by her parents and younger sister, Madge O Micheli. A memorial service will be held in Illinois at later date.
