Delora Sue Bell

Delora Sue Bell, 85, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018. She retired as a social worker in 1996 after moving to Charlotte County from Maryland in 1988. She attended First Alliance Church of Port Charlotte. Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Katie Joseph; husband, Alton M. Bell; and seven brothers and sisters. She will be greatly missed by her children, Michael Bell, Denise Bell Casanova and Renee Bell-Warnock; sister, Nancy McCann; grandchildren, Sarah Thompson, Jessica Fordinal, Edward Warnock, Brandon Bell and Shawn Bell as well as 3 great-grandchildren. The service in celebration of Sues life will be held at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 11:00am. A gathering will be held after the service at First Alliance Church, 20444 Midway Blvd, Port Charlotte FL. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Fraternal Order of Police- R.E. Lister Memorial, Lodge 66, 23300 Harper Ave, Port Charlotte, FL 33980.
