Debra Kay Meredith-Peters, 58, Punta Gorda, FL passed away Nov. 5, 2017. She was born on July 3, 1959 in Tiffin, OH. Debra moved to Florida in 1983, working in property management, starting her own company Star and finally moving into real estate. In 2004, she partnered with Rocky Farhat and became broker/owner of ReMax Anchor Realty, Punta Gorda. In 2009 she was awarded top Broker/Owner of North America by ReMax Int'l. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She loved her family, friends and lived her life to the fullest. Debra will be greatly missed by her son, Conor D. Peters; fiancee', Thomas "Skip" Frient; brother, John G. (Michele) Meredith of St. Clair, MI, sister, Rebecca L. (John) Traxler of Leesville, OH; brother, Mark D. (Joanne) Meredith of Norwalk, OH; many nieces and nephews and dearest friend, Larraine Kenney. She was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Wanda Meredith and sister, Marcia L. Meredith. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 pm, Thursday, November 9, 2017 with a celebration of Debra's life held at 2pm, Friday, November 10, 2017 at First United Methodist Church, Punta Gorda.
