Debra A. Vigeant, 65, of Port Charlotte, FL. passed away on September 7, 2019. She was born July 31, 1954, in Farmingdale, NY to the late John Fandozzi and Josephine Firriolo.
Debra was raised in Long Island, New York as the oldest of three siblings. After graduating from high school in New York, she went on to earn her undergraduate degree from York College in Pennsylvania. After graduating and certifying as a respiratory therapist, she met her husband, the late Thomas H. Vigeant, and shortly thereafter, gave birth to her only child, Daniel J. Vigeant. Debra and Thomas moved their new family to Smithfield, Virginia, where they would live for over a decade. In 1997, they moved to Port Charlotte, Florida, where they would spend the remainder of their years. Debra loved serving and caring for others, whether as a respiratory therapist, sleep therapist, phlebotomist, church volunteer, BSA Den Mother, or youth soccer coach. She remained active in the community and lived a life of servitude and volunteerism.
Debra will be deeply missed by her son Daniel (Cheric); mother Josephine Firriolo; brother John Fandozzi; sister Barbara Fandozzi; 3 grandchildren Caleb, Owen and Khloe; nephews John, Nickolas, and Joseph; niece Erica and a host of great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Vigeant.
