Danny Michelangeli

Danny Michelangeli, 94, of Port Charlotte passed away Friday, April 3, 2015. He was the son of Giacomo and Louisa Michelangeli, born March 4, 1921 in Carnegie, PA. Danny has been a winter resident for 10 years and spends the summers in Manchester, NJ. He is a retired shoemaker and a Court Clerk for the Supreme Court of the State of New York. Danny is a member of the Sons of Italy, The Lions Club and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He was of the Catholic faith and enjoys gardening. Danny will be greatly missed by his significant other of 38 years, Klara Drossos; son, Jack (Lorraine) of Lake Worth, FL; sister, Alduina Della Vecchia of Rockville Center, NY; grandchildren, Sasha and Derno; great-grandchild, Zamar and Klara's daughters, Diane, Deborah (Michael) and Denise; her grandchildren, Cory, Sean, Ryan and Randy. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3pm, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. The service and burial will be in New York.
