Daniel R. Howell

Daniel R. Howell, 73, of Punta Gorda passed away December 13, 2007. He was born August 20, 1934 in Alabama City, Alabama to Robert and Eva Addison. Dan was graduate of Toledo University. He was the previous owner of Southern Homes and was the owner of Dan Howell Drafting & Design Services and Punta Gorda Blueprint. Dan moved from Indiana to Punta Gorda in 1975. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 38 years, Audrey; daughter, Danielle (Dan) Farris of Punta Gorda; sons, Jeffrey (Karen) of Port Charlotte, Joseph of Punta Gorda, Jamie (Rosemary) of Port Charlotte, Jay of Punta Gorda and Jason (Kelly) of Schaumburg, IL; brother Joseph (Marian) Howell of Venice, FL; best friend Elmer “Doc” Farris; grandchildren, Travis, Sean, Jennifer, Joey, Jessica, Brianna, Jacob, Britaney, Jason Jr., Jake, Zachary, Nicholas, Ruby and Tanner and great-grandchildren, Seth, Braden and Jayden . A memorial mass will be 11:00 am, Friday, December 21, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jim Simko officiating.
