Daniel John Campbell, 72, of Venice passed away February 13, 2008. He was born November 3, 1935 in Rochester, NY. Daniel proudly served in the National Guard and the US Navy. He came to Venice in 1998 after 40 years of service with Rochester Telephone Co. Daniel was a member of Union CWA - Local 1170 in Rochester, and American Legion Post 159 in Venice. Daniel will be greatly missed by his wife of 53 years, Patricia M. (Cunningham) Campbell; daughters, Deborah Turman of Ormond Beach, FL, Monica (Steven) O'Dea of Pensacola, FL, and Patricia C. Campbell Esq of Syracuse, NY; sons, Maurice (Tammy) Campbell of Fort Myers and Stephen (Diane) Campbell of Buffalo, NY; grandchildren, Nikki Turman of Pensacola; Adam Campbell of Orlando, Michelle and Kimberly Campbell of Rochester, Andrew & Katie O'Dea serving with the US Marine Corps, and Craig Campbell of Batavia, NY; sisters, Mary (Walt) Kucy of Rochester and Anna Leckenger of Webster, NY; brother, Robert (Maryann) Campbell of Cypress, TX; sisters-in-law, Ruth Campbell and Arlene Campbell both of Rochester; aunt and uncle, Willard (Sally Farr) Harris of Port Charlotte; and 39 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Daniel Campbell, Jr. A memorial service celebrating Daniel's life will be 2:30 pm Monday, February 18 at Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel.
