Dale H. Schmutz, Jr.

Dale H. Schmutz, Jr., 46, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away suddenly August 8, 2015. He was born September 30, 1968 in Lima, OH. Dale was a licensed carpenter and worked in the construction business. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed sports, especially watching Ohio State basketball and football. Dale's "signature outfits" were a team jersey and cap to match. Dale will be greatly missed by his parents, Dale and Sue; daughters, Jodi Long and Brittany Long; sisters, Nancy (Melt) Butler, Lori Schmutz, Cathy (Todd) Stubbs and Julie (Tom) McCormick; 3 grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at 6pm, Friday, August 14, 2015 at New Day Christian Church, 20212 Peachland Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL 33954.
